It has been a while but all for good reason. There is a lot going on. Not only have new business opportunities come but we have also been lucky enough to travel. During the month of May we went on a very emotional trip to Cuba. This was a very emotional trip for us because both my husbands family and my own are from there. They left Cuba during the revolution and represent the amazing melting pot that make up this country. Our childhood is filled with stories about the beautiful island, the music and the people. It was an incredible experience for all of us. Our children, although young, learned to appreciate a little more the sacrifices and struggles our family has endured and not take for granted the many comforts we have. Cubans exemplify that despite not having much, love conquers. This trip was followed by a wonderful trip with friends to Cabo San Lucas. Mexico was beautiful and and relaxing. The trip was filled with exploring the beauty of simplicity. We spent a day out on a boat and seeing a pod of orca, dolphins, turtles, sharks, rays, so many different fish. It’s almost a spiritual experience being out in the middle of no where and still seeing so much life. So I am filled with gratitude for these experiences and hope to plan the next one very soon.
